Riikka Stewen is an art historian from Helsinki. She has written numerous books and articles on Symbolism, memory, and theories of seeing. In her research, she focuses on the transition from the Medieval to the Renaissance period, and on modern and contemporary art. She teaches history and theory of art at the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts, and tutors doctoral students at the University of Helsinki. As long as you love is Stewen’s maiden novel. |
