In this seventh installment, Mari Jungstedt turns slightly away from regular police procedure, from Anders Knutas and from journalist Johan Berg and his relation to Emma Winarve, instead to direct the attention to obscure police inspector Karin Jacobsson and the new characters. More in the vein of a psychological thriller, Jungstedt skillfully plays with the complexity often found in group constellations.
