Bibliography
2011 Isak & Billy

Isak and Billy is what you truly call an original novel. I make notes on almost every page. It is hard to pin-point one single ingredient, it is rather in the combination of Folkhammar’s lyrical one-liners, grim humor and intense erotica, that something very special takes shape. Another impressive achievement is how Isak and Billy, in spite of their stereotypical polarized positions, become two vivid characters with unique features.
- Expressen Kultur
Folkhammar writes love 2011. Love as a state, a confusion, a game with obscure rules. […] In this more is included than what could ever be expected by a debut. […] Folkhammar’s language listens carefully to the contradictory and is faithful to it; this is why this novel is urgent. Isak and Billy can be read as a partly comic story about the attractions of opposites, but is probably greatest as a tragedy of love 2011.
- Aftonbladet
The novel is a chamber play with a comic book feel, without pictures but where the text instead provides a number of significant illustrations of love as an impossibility, battle field and comforting blanket […] Kristofer Folkhammar succeeds well in his nuanced and revealing study of a relationship in which love is anything but easy or obvious, or even real.
