Jouko Heikura, MA (Philosophy), studied theoretical philosophy as his major. He graduated from Sanoma Osakeyhtiö's journalism school and started working as a reporter for Helsingin Sanomat, and also as the foreign correspondent in Stockholm, London, Budapest and New York for Ilta-Sanomat. These days, Heikura lives in London. In the Shadow of the Black Mountains (orig. Mustien Vuorten Varjossa) is his first novel. |
