Lola is thirteen years old. She has just returned to Denmark with her family after seven years in Africa. While Lola is furnishing her new room, she discovers a mysterious book hidden in an old furniture. She shows the book to her new classmate Vik, a boy with asperger’s syndrom, and together they start a laborious work trying to decipher the strange text. They find it to be a book of African sorcery.
