Anneli Kanto (born 1950) is a dramatist, script writer and a journalist. She has a Master’s degree in Social Sciences and she has also studied script writing.
In 2006, Kanto won second place in the Martti Joenpolvi Short Story Competition. The same year, the Freelance Journalists of Finland named her the Freelancer of the Year. kanto’s debut novel The Devil, the Count, the Witch, and the Actor (orig. Piru, kreivi, noita ja näyttelijä) was nominated for the Runeberg Prize in 2007. |
